People Search

People Search allows you to search for people you want to have meaningful conversations with by using the different filters on the left side of the tool to narrow down your results to those that matter the most to you. Our filter options range from pick lists to open text search fields, giving you the flexibility you need to find the right personas.


Search Criteria

Entering Search Criteria: Depending on the search criteria, our filters include open text fields, pick lists or a text field that brings you to predefined results based on what you enter. To remove search criteria simply click the 'X' for the filter you want to remove. If you want to remove your entire search string click 'Clear'.

Viewing Contact Cards

Not only do contact cards provide the necessary contact information to get a hold of your prospect, but they also include detailed information about the person and the company that they work for.

When search results come back, you'll see the view of all contacts that fit your search requirements. The card shows what type up contact information we have (Direct Phone, HQ Phone, and/or Email) as well as a glimpse into the company.

Next to each contact, AroundDeal will indicate what contact details are going to be revealed to you. This is marked by the “phone” and “email" data point tags.

Clicking on “Add to List” will reveal the contact details of the desired contact and save to a list on AroundDeal, which will help you organize them with our internal list tool and allow you to later export to a CSV file.

Reveal 1 contact will cost 1 credit. One credit is needed to reveal all the data that is associated with a contact.

This will select all of the contacts on the page that you are on. You won’t be charged a credit for contacts you have already added.

Hiding EU Contacts

If you are not interested in seeing the results of contacts from the EU, go to your Account. Continue to the Account Settings tab, and toggle the Hide EU contact filter on. This will not display the results of people from the EU on your search results.

Bulk Finder

In AroundDeal, you can upload a list of domains or company names and receive a list of contacts using Bulk Domain Search. Here are the instructions on how to search for contacts in bulk:

1. Choose the Bulks option and create a new bulk.

To use the Bulk Finder, you will need to have a list of domain names or company names ready. This list can be in a file (CSV), or you can simply copy and paste your list directly into AroundDeal.

Enter a unique name for your bulk task, and select your type of input. If your file contains website URLs, select Domain names.

Select the type of input (Domain names or Company names) and choose the file with the list of domain or company names to upload. Here’s an example of the uploaded file.

Alternatively, you can also copy and paste a list of domains or companies in the text area:

Please note that AroundDeal can process 50 prospects per domain and up to 10,000 prospects per task.

3. Choose one of the following search options to set up the necessary parameters:

·Filter by title
·Filter by function and job level

If you choose the ’Filter by title’ option, you will receive a list of prospects that contain words indicated in the position title. If the position consists of 2 or more words, search results will be split. For example, searching for the position of Sales Manager, you will get separate results for Manager and Sales.

This will cost 1 credits per prospect searched, no matter how many email addresses we find.

You can also decide how many prospect you want to receive from each domain, with a maximum of 50 contacts per domain. And pick the country you want to receive.

If you need more prospect data, choose the second option — Filter by function and job level.
You will get more results by this option, and this contains roughly 5% of errors.

In this case, you will receive the results for the indicated job level only (for example, if you want to find people with the CEO job level, this setting will help you filter out the unnecessary results like CEO’s assistant or CEO-partner).

This will cost 1 credits per prospect searched, no matter how many email addresses we find.

You can also decide how many prospect you want to receive from each domain, with a maximum of 50 contacts per domain. And pick the country you want to receive.

Any prospects, that you've previously added (viewed contact info) will be excluded from the generated list.

4. When your search is complete, you can add the results to your list.

We will show you how many credits you will be charged before adding the selected prospects to your list. You can confirm this action by choosing Yes or dismiss it by pressing Cancel. You will be charged only after you confirm adding the found prospects to a people list.

Bulk Cleansing

With AroundDeal Bulk Cleansing, you can fixing incorrectly formatted and removing incorrect, corrupted, , duplicate, or incomplete data within a dataset.

Here are the instructions on how to clean emals or phones in bulk:

1. Choose the Bulk Cleansing option and create a new bulk.

With AroundDeal Bulk Verifier, you can check your emails for validity and clean your prospect lists from abandoned or inactive emails thus reducing your bounce rate.

Marketing teams and sales managers with large lists of contacts need the ability to easily keep them up to date for effective segmentation and targeted engagement.

CRM Enrichment

AroundDeal CRM Enrichment includes two applications for keeping your Salesforce database up to date with accurate B2B contact and company data.

  • With Instant Enrich, your lead, contact and account records will be instantly appended with AroundDeal data as they are created in your Salesforce environment.
  • Scheduled Enrich provides scheduled jobs to keep your Salesforce records enriched on a regular cadence.

A credit is charged for each contact / lead / account enriched.

Before You Begin, you need to connect AroundDeal to your Salesforce account and pull your accounts/ leads/ contacts to AroundDeal first.

Instant Enrich

Receive immediate insights into contacts and companies as they are created in your Salesforce environment by enabling instant enrichment. You configure Instant Enrich for Leads, Contacts, and Accounts independently.

1. Choose the CRM enrichment option and create a new instant enrichment job.

2. Enter a Job Name and choose the object type (select either Accounts, Contacts, or Leads in the drop-down).

3. Choose the method to define the data set to enrich.

  • Enrich all <objects>: Queries all the records within the Salesforce object
  • Enrich <objects> with specific criteria: Add field filter criteria to specify which objects you want to enrich. Each criteria row is joined with an AND operator.

4. Configure the field mapping of AroundDeal to your integration and the update logic for each field.

AroundDeal Field: Select the AroundDeal data point you would like to return

Salesforce Field: Select the Salesforce field you would like to capture the specified data (supports custom fields, as well)

Update Option: Select whether you would like to overwrite existing data for autofill if missing.

Important: AroundDeal recommends the following:

  • Work with your Salesforce administrator to understand field mapping and update options to ensure records are enriched as expected.
  • Set all standard Salesforce fields to autofill if missing. Only select overwrite for custom fields created specifically for AroundDeal.
  • AroundDeal Contact ID and AroundDeal Company ID are unique identifiers for AroundDeal contact and company records. You should create and map custom fields to these fields.

5. Export buying committee.

Use the Export Buying Committee section to define the job title, job function and management level for contacts that represent your desired buying committee. These contacts will be exported and enriched in Salesforce when you export an account.

A credit is charged for each contact exported or enriched.

6. Click Start to finish creating the instant enrichment.

7. View run status and report.

After your run is created successfully, you should see the new run listed in your run table.

Scheduled Enrich

Keep your Salesforce database up to date with routine data enrichments. Data enrichment jobs allow you to select a frequency you would like to update your Salesforce database and custom mapping configuration to determine exactly how you want to capture and write AroundDeal data.

1. Choose the CRM enrichment option and create a new scheduled enrichment job.

2. Enter a Job Name and choose the object type (select either Accounts, Contacts, or Leads in the drop-down).

3. Configure the run frequency for your job. Jobs begin at 00:00 AM (GMT+8) on the scheduled day.

4. Choose the method to define the data set to enrich.

7. Click Start to finish creating the job.

8. After your job is created successfully, you should see the new job listed in your Jobs table. You can change job settings, delete job, view report by clicking on the (●●●) button.

10. View run status and report.

Each run of your Enrich Jobs will appear in the Runs table. Runs are created as soon as a job is initiated.

Check the Runs table to view the status of jobs currently in progress and a historical list of completed runs.

CSV Enrichment

AroundDeal’s Enrichment feature allows you to add available contact from AroundDeal’s database directly to a CSV file. This is a great way to leverage the vast amount of data available in AroundDeal in other systems that you use every day, but have not directly integrated with AroundDeal.

CSV Enrichment works for both people and companies.

Upload a CSV to Enrich People

1. Navigate to the Enrich section.
2. Click ‘create’
3. In the new modal, click Edit Settings in the "Enrich People" section to configure the default demographic fields provided in the CSV file that you want to enrich.

In the "Contact CSV Enrichment Settings" modal, click the checkbox next to any field to disable it and click it again to re-enable it. By default, all fields are enabled.

When you're finished, click Save Settings.

4. Click Select CSV in the "Enrich People" section to upload a CSV from your computer.

If you have uploaded the wrong CSV file in error or if you need to swap in a different file, click the Reupload CSV button and select the correct file.

5. In order to map "AroundDeal Fields" to the columns in your CSV, you must manually map the required "CSV Column Headers" listed in the warning message the top of the screen.

Map all of the items in at least one of the following groups:

  • Full Name, Company Domain
  • Full Name, Company Name
  • First Name, Last Name, Company Domain
  • First Name, Last Name, Company Name
  • Person LinkedIn URL

6. To do this, select the appropriate "CSV Column Header" from the dropdown for each of the required fields.

7. Select the toggle button for Export Buying Committee and configure your buying committee personas By selecting the titles and personas that fit your team’s needs. (Optional)

8. Click the Start button to start enrichment.

9. Check Enrichment Process, view enrichment report and download results
Once your task starts, you can check the progress of the upload on the Enrichment screen. When your search is complete, you can view enrichment report and download the results.

When you use LinkedIn, the AroundDeal Chrome extension allows you to find new prospects with verified data that includes phone numbers and email addresses. You can add these contacts to lists that you've already built in AroundDeal.

Launch the AroundDeal Chrome Extension and click the toggle for AroundDeal Everywhere to enable this feature.

To use AroundDeal Chrome extension to view information & employees of companies while browsing their website, simply visit a website and click the AroundDeal icon on your sidebar.

Invite someone to my plan

Only the AroundDeal account admin & manager has the ability to invite new users to the plan. To invite a user, please follow the steps below:

1. In the Team section, click Invite Members to get a list of members from your organization. Select the members that you wish to invite and click on Invite Team Members:

The members you invited can approve the invite via AroundDeal’s dashboard or email.

2. You can also invite members that do not appear on the list by typing their email address:

3. The user will receive an email invitation and needs to click Accept Invitation to become a member.

Please note that you must be an account admin in order to remove a member of the team.

If you are not a registered user yet, please do the following:

1. Sign up to AroundDeal here

2. The invitation will appear on the middle of the screen

5. User roles and permissions

Each user is assigned to a specific “role” with the relevant permissions.

Admin permissions:

  • Use AroundDeal's extension and use credits

  • Manage the team members of the account (invite member, remove member, change roles, add credits, take back credits)

  • Manage domain (Visitors)

User permissions:

Add New Domain

1. Open Management Tab of Visitors

As shown above, the Management Tab is the one-stop-shop for managing all the domains on which the Visitors Script is currently installed as well as for adding new domains.

Note: Only Admin users can see the Management Tab in Visitors, which means only Admin users will be able to Add/Remove a Domain.

2. Enter the URL in the Add New Domain

3. Click on the ‘View Installation Script’ and you will see the window pop-up as shown below.

4. Click on “Copy HTML” and paste this script at the end of your <head> tag to start tracking the companies that are actively visiting your website.

5. Click on “Verify” on the domain that you want to verify a Domain. This is the concluding as well as the crucial step that confirms whether the snippet is placed correctly and is actively tracking company visits or not. Turn your active status on when your domain has been successfully verified.

2. Set Persona Filter

Personas are sets of locations, seniorities, and function that define different groups of people that you target within key accounts. After setting them up, you will able to search faster and receive better recommendations.

3. View Companies Visited Your Website

Open Company Analytics Tab to see the companies visiting your website in real-time.

Note: We only show the website traffic with IP Addresses that we successfully matched to. 1 unique company costs 1 credit. We do not show “Anonymous” website traffic.

The page filter gives the option to look at the company traffic in specific web pages such as the Pricing page, Contact Us page, etc. The company filter provides the option to search if a specific company has visited your website / a particular page on your website.

The “Find Employees” opens the company results (up to 25) in each page in the “Prospector” tab of the AroundDeal application. To easily find more than 25 results at a time, you can click “Go to List” button and export all companies to a list. Upload your list in “Bulks” to find your ideal buyers.

4. Receive Prospect Recommendation

Open People Analytics Tab to see high-fit prospects in real-time. 1 unique prospect costs 1 credit.

The page also allows the user to filter the website traffic by dates. It also provides deeper firmographic insights in terms of Company Headcount, locations and Industries of companies that are visiting your website.

Any time you save a contact in the platform, AroundDeal monitors those contacts for any potential updates to their profile. This includes any time a prospect’s company, job title, location or contact info is changed.

Update Prospects

1. First, launch AroundDeal and then click Alert.

You have now updated a Contact to include the latest information. (The prospect will be updated automatically both in alert list and list.)

To update prospects in bulk, pleasse click the checkboxes for the prospects you want, and then click Update.
