We are Cardano: Founded in 2000, Cardano is a purpose-led, Anglo-Dutch advisory, risk and investment management specialist focused on pensions and sustainability employing over 400 people in London, Nottingham and Rotterdam. Cardano comprises four main divisions: • Advisory: Cardano Advisory supports over 350 pension schemes, sponsors and other clients across six practice areas including covenant & sustainability, corporate events and restructuring & special situations; • Investment Management: Specialist asset and fiduciary management serving pension schemes (and non-pensions clients with similar risk management requirements) with £60 billion of assets under management or advice; and • DC: We operate NOW: Pensions, an award-winning UK workplace pension provider. We look after the pension savings of tens of thousands of employers and millions of members from a wide range of industry sectors. • Risk management: We have been helping pension funds in the Netherlands manage their financial risks for twenty years now. We do this by implementing their LDI strategy – in a tailor-made fashion to help improve the robustness of their balance sheet. Cardano’s longstanding overarching purpose is to build trust in an uncertain world by fighting for a robust financial system and a fair pension system that benefit everyone. Cardano aims to achieve this by providing security and helping people to achieve better, more secure financial outcomes, in a realistic and responsible way.
