Overview
Chinese Overseas Students' Association (COSA) is one of the biggest student clubs at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. COSA, formerly the King's Chinese Students Association, was founded at Western's King's University College in 2003. The organization then restructured in 2011 into a better-organized and diverse student club with four fundamental departments: Events, Finance, Promotion, and Student Issues in order to server all Chinese students better. The new club also expanded to Western main campus so all Westerners can benefit equally. In 2013, COSA welcomed two exciting departments into the organization, namely Westernpedia and Western Mandarin Debate team. In the same year, COSA announced its "Co-Card" program which partnered with over 100 merchandisers including Rogers Communications, Robert Q as well as Lexus to provide discounts to its student members. Today, COSA has served hundreds of students by organizing and co-hosting about 40 events, seminars, and workshops every year.
The club is well-known for its great relationship among student members.
