As the third largest not-for-profit health system in the United States, we are committed to providing for the needs of our communities – especially for those who are poor and vulnerable – across Alaska, California, Montana, Oregon and Washington. Our system includes more than 82,000 caregivers (all employees) serving in a diverse range of ministries from birth to end of life, including acute care, physician clinics, long-term and assisted living, palliative and hospice care, home health, supportive housing and education. In July 2016, Providence Health & Services came together with St. Joseph Health to form a new parent organization, Providence St. Joseph Health. Together our family of organizations, consists of 114,000 caregivers serving in 50 hospitals and 829 clinics across seven states. PSJH is led by President and CEO, Rod Hochman, MD.
