Private investor at Time for the Planet
With a master's degree in physics and engineering from the Nanotechnology and Materials Departments of the National Institute of Applied Sciences, Rennes, France, I have since studied and focused on the fields of renewable energy, thermodynamics, mechanics, and electronics. I have interests in the development and improvement of equipment and machinery from an environmental standpoint. My experiences in energy control and eco-design while working in industries gave me opportunities to manage projects and analyze energy-usage. The aim of my last experience was to maximize efficiency for buildings of varying sizes. I have also volunteered my services while in school for the CFE (French Championships in Engineering schools) in communications roles, writing articles, working with local government, and communicating regularly with the media. In my final year of school, I participated in a collaborative entrepreneurial project with the business school, designing and analyzing the market for a new product. We devised a solar panel that maximized efficiency by utilizing cool water to maintain thermal equilibrium. While the product proved difficult to create, the experience was a great learning opportunity to understand and address the issues that come with the development of a new product and business. I am interested in promoting the environmental needs of businesses and hope to improve both the mentality and the productivity therein.
