Vice President - PLM Global Delivery – Digital Enterprise Solutions at Tata Technologies

In his current role, Anand Ananthanarayanan is responsible to manage the Digital Enterprise Solutions Centre Of Excellence (COE) across Tata Technologies globally which encompasses Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Digital Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, Digital Customer Experience, Mobility and Data Sciences. His vision is to deliver best-in-class solutions to engineering problems helping customers navigate the futuristic challenges driven by the new technologies and continuously invests in expanding and enhancing the solutions as technology evolves. His mission is to create offerings across digital enterprise for driving Innovation & operational efficiency and help his customers combat product & process complexities. Anand has more than 22 years of experience in PLM, demonstrating his leadership abilities through Managing large programs, Setting up methods, tools and processes, Establishing customer relationships, Managing and engaging resources globally, Setting up knowledge management processes. In the past he has demonstrated his technical abilities by implementing numerous projects related to Knowledge based engineering, CAx Customization, Systems Engineering, Engineering Application Development and PLM Implementations and with core specialization in the field of IT for Engineering. He has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s in automotive engineering from Germany. Prior to Tata Technologies, he has worked at Mercedes Benz Research and Technology. Anand is also a Certified Scrum Master, practicing Scrum on global projects in both service, application and product development environment and also a certified internal and Tata Business Excellence Model (TBEM) gold certified external assessor.
