Principal Data Scientist at Microsoft

Ankit Srivastava has completed his Masters in Computer Engineering from University of Florida. He is currently working in the Core Data Science team of Connected Services & Experiences division at Microsoft. He completed a summer internship at Microsoft in 2012 and started full-time in Windows division in Jan, 2013. He is one of the early data scientists in the company and has worked on over 60 data science projects over the past 6 years. He has worked with over 30 partner teams within Microsoft across Windows, Office, Azure and Bing. He has collaborated with researchers in academia on Responsible AI (Harvard University) and Cancer research (Indiana University School of Medicine). He has been contributor to OSS offering from Microsoft on Differential Privacy. Prior to pursuing his masters, he worked at Deloitte for two years in the field of technology consulting and ERP implementation. He did his B.Tech in Information and Communication Technology from DA-IICT (Gandhinagar). He has completed 6 internships over a period of 3 years at organizations like Defense Research & Development Organization, Sun Microsystems and National Innovation Foundation. He was an Employee Intern at Sun for 2 years from July, 2007. He has also worked on a six month B.Tech Project at Qualcomm, Bangalore. He was a Microsoft Intern Ambassador at UFL and a OPS Student Assistant at Department of Housing.
