The California Montessori Project serves 2,700 students in four districts across the greater Sacramento area. The Mission of the California Montessori Project is to provide a Quality, Tuition-Free, Montessori Education that challenges our students to reach their full potential. Superintendent at the California Montessori Project (CMP), a free public charter school network, that offers an environment which has the tools, programs, resources and support to enable students to become educated to high international academic standards and to develop themselves to their fullest capacity as competent, happy, productive individuals, family members, workers, and contributors to a better society and a peaceful world. The California Montessori Project provides a Montessori curriculum, integrated with the California state standards, for students ranging from Kindergarten through eighth grade. Previously, Superintendent of Wonderful College Prep Academy, a free public charter school network serving grades kindergarten through 12 where 100% of the 2018 graduating class are attending college or a work fellowship and 88% enrolled in four-year universities. From 2016-2018 served as Deputy State Superintendent with the Nevada Department of Education focused on implementing the nation's most comprehensive education legislation. From 2012 to 2016 served as Vice President at StudentsFirst and lead teams to pass 240 pro-student laws across the country.
