I'm a generalist Game Programmer and Tech Lead with over 10 commercially published games, over 10 years of experience with game development and 4 years of experience leading technical teams in game projects. During this time I've worked with several middlewares and engines, including OGRE, Unity and Unreal Engine. I've worked on games published over all kinds of platforms including PC, Mobile, VR and Consoles. Having worked on teams with 2 to 60 people, I have a good understanding of all areas' workflows and can work closely with them to get features done in the best and most cost-effective way possible. I particularly like working alongside Game Designers to find optimal engineering solutions for Game Design problems and requirements. In the last few years I've been leading engineering teams (sized 2 to 10 people), with focus on game client engineering, as well as participating in engineering hiring initiatives and conducting technical interviews. I'm very interested in advancing the games industry and the use of games as a cultural medium, and I see the sharing of knowledge as crucial in this process. To this end, I currently teach several programming subjects in a local specialization course at PUCRS and I'm always open to opportunities to speak on Game Development events (or suggest a colleague to do so).
