Dan has a tenured career in Information technology at Palm Bay for the last 8 years. His career spans Cognos/BI development, ERP management, sales and financial planning, sales analysis and insights, project management and vendor relations to running a department of 6. He has led projects that include full automation of mobile orders by the sales force, EDI integration with key partners and upgrades and virtualization of all enterprise software. Most successfully he has led the implementation of a revamped planning tool which ingests sales and financial trends, builds the plan from a single unit acquisition cost, allows for accurate GP forecasting and generates seasonalized customer commitment reports. Before joining Palm Balm, Dan was leading a team at the City of New York on projects that affected citywide payroll and timekeeping including the execution of CityTime, a project to accurately record timesheets for over 150,000 city employees via biometric devices. In addition, he built a BI solution for a $22B annual payroll for 450,000 employees and integrated pension payments amounting to approximately $12B annually for more than 300,000 retired employees.
