My career is about the intersection of technology and social change. True success is when a mission driven organization successfully adopts technology to achieve their business vision. My success metrics are usually growth, revenue, customers, customer success and social impact outcomes. I’ve lead purely commercial pre-sales and go-to-market teams executing 750+ deals a year and driving $40M+ ARR. I’ve assembled a team that built a $50M+ ARR run rate businesses serving nonprofits and social enterprise customers from executive sponsorship to strategy to go-to-market plan to execution. I’ve driven the industry elements of Oracle NetSuite’s SuiteSuccess go-to-market strategy (product, sales motion, delivery, customer success) in retail, manufacturing, wholesale distribution, services, nonprofit across North America, EMEA, JAPAC & LAD. I’ve helped build open source products and communities that rapidly scaled past 10,000 active customers. My financial metric achievements are only possible because of the deep alignment to the customer and beneficiary learned from years in the international development and social sectors. I designed income and employment generation programs in East Africa and post-Soviet Europe. I was the founding director of the Eastmont Computing Center which provided technology access and learning to over 400 community members each week, including one of the first Cisco Networking Academies serving at risk youth. I've helped put together CiviCRM, open source software that runs over 10,000 global NGOs and designed and executed a grant program to give away $350M in computers to schools and community based agencies in the US. One of my favorite accomplishments was the Katrina Peoplefinder Project, helping to coordinate over 2,000+ volunteers to build a crowd-sourced web-based index of every missing person on the web after hurricane Katrina. I'm always looking to create and execute a big idea that will do a little good for the world.
