Dinanath (Dina) is the Global Head of the Analytics & Insights unit of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). He is responsible for managing the unit P&L, formulating its strategy and enabling clients in their journey of Digital Re-Imagination. As a Data and Analytics specialist who has worked closely with client Business stakeholders, he believes that many organizations are yet to realize the power of their data in real time decision making. Over a career spanning three decades, Dina has held various leadership roles and delivered value in building various businesses in TCS. In 1996, he was responsible for setting up TCS’ Data Warehousing and Data Mining group, and it subsequently evolved into the Business Intelligence Practice. Overall, Dina brings a unique blend of Business and Operations expertise, data technologies and Analytics and has enabled build strategic partnerships with many customers and help them become industry leaders. In his previous role, Dina led TCS’ $2B Business Process Services (BPS) and Business Analytics unit. During his BPS stint he managed the Financial Services vertical within BPS and was also the CEO & MD of TCS eServe Dina holds a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering. He has been providing industry leadership to the IEEE Pune section for over 15 years and has been re-elected Chairman of Pune Section for 2019. He is passionate about making a difference in the field of education and is currently driving Digital literacy initiatives in Pune. Also, he is a member of the Board of Governors of his alma-mater VJTI and helped setup up state of the art IoT lab in the Electrical Engineering department As one of the champions for Diversity & Inclusivity he has led from the front on various initiatives, notably among those are the WILL forum, running an All Women Centre at Riyadh, setting up Global delivery centres, and supporting the Avasara Academy, a unique initiative for education of girl child.
