General Manager: Cisco Sub-Saharan Africa at Cisco

My passion is to inspire people to deliver innovative and transformational technology solutions that make a positive impact to our people and our world. My technical ability to solve complex problems was developed through a National Diploma in Electronic Engineering followed by a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering. Experience in the aerospace industry helped me gain new skills in hardware and software product design and development. Through completing an MBA (with distinction), I was able to build additional leadership and business skills. These were essential for executing successful sales and business development strategies in markets such as China and South Korea. This experience helped me to successfully transform Cisco South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa’s sales motions, with the goal to deliver technology solutions that are both industry relevant and impact business in a positive way. With my teams, we have been driving change as I worked in various leadership roles in Cisco’s Sales, Engineering and Partner organisations. In my current role as GM for Cisco Sub-Saharan Africa I am focused on inspiring our teams to use our technology innovations and help Africa and its people realise their maximum potential so that we can create a more inclusive future for all
