Principal Experience Designer, Oracle Industry Lab at Oracle

My love of designing, delivering workshops and uncovering users' problems keeps me busy creating meaningful experiences. When I share the overarching vision of a project, I enable stakeholders to take conscious steps towards their goals and decisions. I translate insights learnt through research into opportunities to arrive at a design solution that creates impact. I can always be found overcoming technical constraints through delivering positive outcomes, being adaptable and creating bespoke solutions, understanding the pain points and evolving needs of clients. I am a master initiative taker, an accountability arranger, note taker, relationship builder, sense maker and overall curiosity seeker. I am interested in finding ways to align stakeholders from disparate teams and thinking backgrounds, where I use my workshop planning and facilitation skills to solve this. Having lived in six countries has helped me evolve a sense of wonder and curiosity, which allows me to adapt to a variety of different situations. After graduating from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, I pursued a freelance career in graphic design, mostly working with independent theaters creating visual identities and marketing collateral, before moving back to Australia in 2011. Outside of that I'm known for costumes, sequins and bikes (sometimes combined), and I am often on a bike riding adventure discovering new cities and towns.
