Regional Director - Southern California at Elwyn

For 16 years I’ve been working with individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. I have grown in my experience from direct case management work to an executive level leadership position. I completed my MSW from USC in 2011. I currently oversee the Southern California operations for Elwyn California, a non-profit organization the provides community based residential services to individuals with developmental disabilities. I currently oversee 12 existing specialized residential programs and 3 projects that are in development across the greater LA County area. We specialize in working with transitioning individuals with very involved medical and/or behavioral challenges out of institutional settings and into community based residential services where they can have opportunities to live and grow in local neighborhoods as would anyone without a disability. Previous to working with Elwyn I was the Associate Director of Client Services with the San Gabriel/Pomona Regional Center where I over saw the Early Start department. This is the special education program for children ages 0-3 in California. As a member of the executive team at SG/PRC I developed policy and procedures for my own agency as well as served on several statewide committees committees that developed statewide polices and informed legislative changes. I have also developed staff development and training programs and I am skilled in working with LMS and other eLearning tools. .
