After reading "The Truth About Leadership"​, by James Kouzes and Barry Posner I came away with a reminder of what I appreciate most about those who have led me to this point in my career, and how they have influenced me as a leader. My favorite Truth is #10 - Leadership is an affair of the heart. If you know me, that won't surprise you! This passage best summarizes my leadership style: "Loving leading means that you're passionate about values and visions that make a difference, that you look forward every day to devoting your time to strengthening others and building teams, that you relish the chance to tackle a daunting challenge and search for new possibilities, and that you truly enjoy recognizing others for their contributions to the success of the enterprise."
