Currently leading the UK launch as General Manager for SimpliSafe, a US based home security and home monitoring business. Jonathan has held a multitude of positions across the digital retail sector in the UK including Chief Digital Officer of Missguided and Non-Executive Director at Yours Clothing. Previously Jonathan led the mobile transformation within Shop Direct and his award winning team was responsible for mobile marketing and developing the mobile proposition across web and their award winning mobile apps. He was Responsible for all aspects of Digital Experience and Digital Marketing the eCommerce team grew to be recognised within the retail industry in the UK as one of the leading teams. The experimentation culture that was developed within the team enabled for continuous and successful delivery of the transformation that Shop Direct successfully delivered. Prior to joining Shop Direct in April 2010, Jonathan was CEO at Flowersdirect.co.uk, one of the UK’s leading online florists. While there, he oversaw a business transformation that included a new ecommerce system and the overhaul of its product offering. He joined Flowersdirect.co.uk from dabs.com where he played an integral role in transforming the IT catalogue mail order business into one of the UK’s first and most successful pureplay online retailers. Jonathan was also Chairman of the Shop Direct Digital Advisory Board which is a group of eclectic digital leaders from across the spectrum of digital skills. The Board included a senior team of people from digital businesses such as Google, Facebook, IBM & O2 and helps to support the medium and long term strategy to enable Shop Direct's vision to be a World Class Digital retailer.
