Lee is an attorney whose practice focuses on corporate and securities law for entrepreneurial and middle market companies. His practice is primarily focused on general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, and professional licensing. Lee has represented clients in the architecture/engineering, manufacturing, hospitality, technology, and agricultural industries. He also supports the firm’s transactional real estate practice and has experience with reviewing and drafting leases and lease-related agreements. Lee received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2004, and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Richmond School of Law in 2009. While at Richmond, Lee served as Executive Editor for the Richmond Journal of Global Law & Business. He also received his LL.M in Law & Entrepreneurship from Duke University School of Law in 2013. Lee has been licensed to practice law in North Carolina since 2009. Representative experience includes: Representation of buyers and sellers in mergers, stock acquisitions, and asset purchases in various industries, including architecture/engineering, manufacturing, hospitality, technology, and agriculture. Representation of national design firms in professional licensing and compliance matters. Representation of clients in general corporate matters, including corporate governance, restructurings, contract review, securities compliance, corporate finance, loan agreements, and employment matters. Representation of numerous engineering firms in “pre-‘69” transactions. Formation of corporations and limited liability companies.
