Prior to joining Collabworks, I held the position of Vice President and Chief Information Officer for CollabWorks, LLC, where my team had responsibility for the IT organization supporting corporate business systems and network infrastructure worldwide. I led the organization toward a virtual company vision that allowed employees to perform their job functions from anywhere in the world. Since joining Collabworks I have participated in the research and development of a new process for maximizing value delivered by your workforce. The CollabWorks solution, called WaaS, is a software application that is completely committed to empowering and motivating workers to increase their value to benefit themselves and the organization(s) they serve. WaaS is easy to implement and adds immediate value since it starts with the reality of actual work and talent used and then clearly identifies how to improve both. WaaS will continuously align talent capabilities by focusing on changing priorities and business needs. Our clients have two important issues they are committed to address: (1) Talent is scarce and essential and new methods are needed to better optimize, engage, and retain the best available talent; and (2) Productivity and improved return on labor employed are critical to retaining a competitive advantage. WaaS clarifies and quantifies the importance and value of the work and talent for both workers and managers. Metrics measure progress and outcomes are clearly understood. Lean methodologies are built into the process. While top down objectives and priorities are baked into the transformation plans, the primary energy and leadership is bottoms up from passionate individuals and improvement teams. Our clients are achieving quantifiable gains in productivity of 15% or more.
