I'm passionate about creating content with impact. I've had extensive experience building editorial strategies and leading editorial teams at Silicon Valley-based companies, and have helped both established tech companies and startups build their brands and grow audiences through compelling content. I'm the first Editorial hire at Prezi, the virtual presentation software that’s transforming the way people present on video. Prezi has +100M users and is the world's largest database of public presentations. As Editorial Director, I lead a team that works closely with influencers, speakers, and thought leaders to create, record, and livestream compelling videos that educate and inspire people all over the world on topics across business, sales, marketing, L&D, and education. Prior to Prezi, I was a News Editor at LinkedIn for six years, where I created and curated content to make the platform the go-to place to share news and professional insights. As an editor on the Special Projects team, I created the LinkedIn News strategy across Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn; conceptualized and hosted our #FemaleFounders video series; served as the editorial lead for Newsletters (LinkedIn’s first newsletter product); and wrote and reported for the LinkedIn Lists franchise. I also worked on LinkedIn’s Daily News team on a year-long assignment in Hong Kong, where I was the sole U.S. editor in APAC as part of a 24-hour global news team. There I wrote the Daily Rundown — a member-facing digest of news that was sent to LinkedIn’s U.S. audience — and was part of the team that launched the LinkedIn News module. Before LinkedIn, I worked in Marketing/PR at a Silicon Valley-based messaging startup founded by one of the first 10 employees at Google. I'm a proud member of Northwestern’s Council of 100, an invite-only organization of NU women selected based on career trajectory, achievements and commitment to mentoring.
