I started as a legal advisor in Vestas Northern Europe AB mid September 2017. Part of my work is dedicated to transactions in the Northern European Markets. The other part is dedicated to Vestas’ growing markets for Maintenance and Multibrand in all of our NCE region which covers jurisdictions in Africa, Central Asia and Europe. From 1 May until 31 July 2017 I attended law courses at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada to get a better understanding of Common Law, mainly in relation to contracts. From 1 May 2016 until 30 April 2017 I worked as a Legal Advisor in Vestas - Australian Wind Technology Pty. Ltd. as a transactional advisor. We assisted in projects ranging from full scope EPC contracts to supply contracts of Wind Turbines. I was involved in the negotiaion and drafting of the supply and service contracts and the ancillary documents such as guarantees, direct agreement with lenders, crane and transport documents etc. across the APAC region. As a Corporate Legal Advisor at Vestas Wind Systems A/S I provided broad legal support internally in Vestas, however with Corporate Law as my main focus. Besides my job at Vestas Wind Systems A/S, I worked part time as an External Lecturer in Marketing Law at the University of Copenhagen where I am also a counsellor for students writing their master thesis in Marketing Law. I became a barred Attorney on 1 September 2014 from Bruun & Hjejle where I had been for five years as a paralegal, "stipendiat" and as an Assistant Attorney. During Law School I worked part time as a student at the Danish Supreme Court and in 2009 I spent a semester as an Intern at the Legal Aid Forum in Rwanda.
