VP Funding, Content & Analytics at Elsevier
Joined Elsevier in 1998 as an IT Analyst/Software Engineer to contribute in the realization of a platform that had a significant role in the P2E transformation within Elsevier. By the end of 2002 and early 2003 moved to the Publishing Technology Unit with focus on the Abstract & Indexing products. After leading a small team focusing on further development of Scopus for a couple of years, I became Head of New Technology: small team that focuses on technology impact on Elsevier's business (strategy) but also on leveraging of these technologies to help the research community execute on their needs and strategies. Specialties: Product(Technology) development, Product (web) architecture
