Marina is a senior marketer with fifteen years' experience in eCommerce and digital marketing. She likes solving eCommerce problems, ghost writing complicated press releases, wearing many hats, and helping online businesses to thrive and grow. After varied roles at Yuppiechef, Automattic and Names & Faces, she joined Mollie in 2021 as a marketing manager. Outside of work you'll find her running, reading, and looking after other peoples' dogs. Her responsibilities at Names & Faces included marketing strategy and implementation: paid media, SEO, PR, native advertising, case studies, webinars, website optimisation, budgets and reporting. At WooCommerce, she joined as one of the first marketing hires and worked on the content, email and social media strategies. Over the years, she also executed demand generation, product marketing, customer communication, and brand building initiatives – plus actively contributed to the WordPress community. At Yuppiechef, she joined as the very first marketing hire and worked directly with the three founders to build the brand and marketing strategy from the ground up. Yuppiechef remains one of South Africa's most loved brands. She's always had a strong entrepreneurial interest - from selling toffee apples and sugar pigs as a six year old to launching Ecommerce side projects.
