Eight years later, I had subscribed to a meal-kit delivery service. Every kit came with a corrugated box, an insulated blanket and two gel packs. And guilt — guilt about the nose-deep trash heap that accumulated in my garage in just a couple of weeks. I couldn’t stop thinking about the waste of it all and where the corrugate, gel packs and insulation would end up. Landfill, ocean, water supply? Yikes! I knew I had a better, more responsible way. PackIt Fresh Freezable Grocery Delivery Totes were born from that trash heap, as reusable, efficient and effective containers for transporting perishable food. What PackIt was to school and office lunches, PackIt Fresh is to grocery and meal-kit delivery.
