I am an American Integrative Holistic Physician and CEO with LightHearted Medicine (www.lightheartedmedicine.com), now living in Spain in order to walk my own talk about you stepping wholeheartedly into your lighthearted life. I am available for Integrative and Functional Medicine consults through the internet and offer both courses and talks on Functional and Mind/Body/Spirit Medicine. I am Board Certified in Family Medicine with expertise in Integrative and Holistic Medicine, Functional Medicine, and Emotional & Spiritual Counseling. Common health issues I help people with include fatigue, gastrointestinal distress, women's and men's health, hormonal issues, thyroid problems, cardiac health, weight loss, pain concerns, emotional and psycho-spiritual health, conflict resolution work, and more. Besides my training as a physician, I am also a psychotherapist and an ordained Shamanic Minister. I have published two books on CAM and Nutritional Medicine and am a frequent lecturer and retreat leader at medical conferences. My national leadership experience includes having been on the Board of Directors for the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine, Past-President of the American Holistic Medical Association and Past-Chairman of the Board for the Integrative Medicine Consortium. My focus is on helping people to find health, joy, love, vitality and "juiciness"​ in your life, as a bridge between holistic and allopathic medical techniques and sensibilities.
