I am a passionate, highly motivated, result-driven BSL-3 certified researcher with passion for teaching. I am engaged in basic and translational research. Current research focus is mycobacterial pathogenesis and drug resistance. I have expertise in high-throughput drug screening and drug discovery, drug toxicity studies in cell-culture, mutagenesis, cloning, gene regulation and expression using transcriptional fusions & CRISPR-i knock-downs, protein expression and purification, immunological techniques like Western Blotting, confocal microscopy, in vivo mice studies and several other techniques. Demonstrated writing and oral communication skills through 14 peer-reviewed publications, BSL-3 SOPs, invited talks, presentations at several national & international conferences, mentoring and teaching of undergraduates and graduates.
