Experienced attorney with a demonstrated history of successfully representing individuals charged with misdemeanors and felonies in state and federal courts. Robert has tried numerous cases to victory, and most notably as the only criminal defense attorney licensed in Massachusetts on the "All-Star" winning defense team in Commonwealth v. Aaron Hernandez (2017). He and his students have argued and won a number of other cases on appeal, including making law in Massachusetts in Commonwealth v. Tejeda (2017). Since 2009, Robert teaches at Harvard Law School’s Trial Advocacy Workshop, and, since 2011, as a Clinical Instructor, Senior Clinical Instructor, and Lecturer on Law at HLS’s Criminal Justice Institute.
