I own and run Screen Pages, an established e-commerce agency in the UK. Since 1997, Screen Pages has developed into one of the leading agencies specialising in e-commerce & related services to online retailers, with a unique consultative, analytic and marketing-oriented culture. I have been in the online, information technology and software sector since the 1980s. I started as a COBOL programmer in the City and have huge experience of sales & marketing, business development & strategy and general management in an online software world. I co-founded Intelligent Environments - the AIM-listed enterprise software business - (with Laurence Shafe) in 1985 and had a number of business development & management roles including SVP in North America and CEO. At its peak, the company had sales of £10m and a market cap of £150m. After a spell advising early stage tech companies, I teamed up with Phil Hollingdale at Screen Pages, which I acquired from Pindar PLC in 2008 and run jointly with Sarah, my wife. Screen Pages has 20 staff and is now of the forefront specialists in Magento, the e-commerce platform owned by Ebay. I have 4 children and have written one novel (City of Liars).
