Sally Acevedo

Director, Senior Legal Counsel, Credit Investments Legal Team at Guggenheim Partners

Sally Acevedo, as senior counsel at Guggenheim Investments, evaluates, structures, negotiates and monitors investments with a primary focus on origination, distressed and special situations and workout, restructuring and exit strategies for securitizations, complex structured products, corporate bonds and commercial loans. She has significant experience in new product design and a wide variety of capital markets and financing products with cross-border characteristics and in identifying, quantifying and developing mitigants to legal and other risks affecting credit performance. She developed and authored credit ratings methodologies and research on complex asset-backed securities. Sally has a Yale Law School J.D. and graduated Baruch College summa cum laude (GPA 3.96) with a B.A. of Political Science. She was a Senior Editor of the Yale Journal of International Law. As a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, she was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal among other honors. Sally is a member of Guggenheim Partners' Veterans Initiative Advisory Committee and Pro Bono Committee.
