Stephen Mortefolio currently serves as Vice President of Marketing and Communications for IBM's Financial Services business. Steve focuses on planning and executing large-scale growth strategies in complex environments. Steve has 5 years of experience as an analyst and manager in IBM’s Market Development and Insights organization where he examines markets and jointly develops growth strategies. He also spent over 5 years in engineering roles where he designed and project managed implementations for large enterprise and consumers. His experiences collaborating with sales, marketing, and operations enables Steve to understand the tactical requirements to execute strategies. Steve has honed his ability to be detail-oriented while maintaining focus on longer-term objectives. He has expertise in analyzing and synthesizing market-based and internal company metrics using analytical models, data visualization, and design principles to distill insights and ground decision-making. Steve has learned to effectively communicate winning strategies using consulting methodologies to senior leadership.
