Theo co-founded Shore Financial following their success in the finance industry at McGrath’s Oxygen Home Loans. Since then, Theo has built Shore Financial to being a business which originally was writing $5m a month in home loan applications with only 3 staff, to now $200m a month in applications with 54 staff. Theo has also managed to take Shore Financial within the first year of trading to receive The Australian Finance Group Top 5 Brokerage of NSW 2014, Best New Brokerage of the Year 2014 and most importantly the Better Business Awards Best Independent Brokerage of 2015. His is now a frequent guest speaker at many industry events as he shares his success stories and strategies amongst the industry. Outside of mortgage broking, Theo separately built an education business to 147 staff within two years making it the second largest education aggregator in Australia. He has a knack for building businesses by leading and motivating individuals to be the best of their capabilities. He is a trusted leader who inspires staff by instilling high expectations and driving them to fulfil these expectations by constant positive influence. His business values and ethics have been taught to him by a family bloodline of business owners and entrepreneurs including liquor tycoons Theo Karedis and Steven Chambers.
