My career began in 1980 at Michelin's worldwide headquarters in Clermont-Ferrand, France. Subsequent assignments included the management of subsidiaries in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1985, Hong Kong in 1988, London, UK in 1991 and Clermont-Ferrand France in 1994. Since my transfer to the company's North American Headquarters in Greenville SC I held various Supply Chain Management assignments. I retired in April 2019. I was fortunate to alternate between very operational and functional roles on 3 continents in start-up and mature businesses. This helped me to develop an ability to grasp business challenges, create and then implement focused multi-functional action plans to deliver value for the business in a manner that safeguards company values and respect for people.
