I make things happen. That’s my brand. Sure, ABC News and Fast Company magazine have called me a "marketing guru" (Fast Company also called me “A Model Citizen for the 21st Century,” so, take that as you will). But what I really do is transform struggling, floundering or simply tired companies into growth machines and industry leaders. In Silicon Valley, I have built a strong reputation for innovative marketing in very tough industry segments: software, mobile, semiconductors, capital equipment. I have written several best-selling books about how technology is changing our world. Now, I am a bridge between Silicon Valley and Hollywood, pushing the boundaries of new technology, entertainment and pop culture. That’s what I do: I make things happen. Summary I have been a senior marketing executive at companies such as HP, Applied Materials and Marvell. I was the founding chairman and CEO of the growth-hacking venture, Joint Venture: Silicon Valley. Today, I am bridging Silicon Valley and Hollywood and taking new media in wildly new directions. I earned a Bachelor’s degree from Boston University, completed graduate executive programs at Stanford University and Harvard Business School. I am an Associate Fellow at Oxford University, Said School of Business and a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. .
