David’s deep energy-markets subject matter expertise enables him to excel as a liaison between a customer’s business and IT organizations to design and deliver solutions that produce measurable results . Over his 18 year career in consulting, custom solutions and software, David has demonstrated this standard of excellence across several areas application, system and business process specialties, including ETRM (Zai*Net & Epsilon), gas pipeline nominations and scheduling (LINK), supply chain optimization (Manugistics & Numetrics), ERP (SAP & PeopleSoft) and ISO/RTO transaction management (PowerOptix® and nMarket). For the last 14 years David has focused exclusively on deregulated power markets and is a recognized ERCOT and SPP market expert. In addition, David has experience in California (CAISO), Midwest (MISO), PJM and New England (ISONE). David was a pivotal executive at The Structure Group (Structure) for 10 years and helped grow and establish the nMarket software businesses. He held key executive positions responsible for running a services business unit and directing the development of multiple software products. David started his professional career in Ernst & Young’s (E&Y) IT management consulting practice.
