I am Devang Parekh, with 6 years of experience in Information Technology and a Master’s in Computer Systems and Networks from Northeastern University, Boston. I have a strong background in managing and supporting Data Center and Cloud Infrastructure environments, Windows, and Linux System administration. Currently working with a tech company in Philadelphia with a focus on pushing the finest entertainment products to the world. Using the latest technology and operating with the highest minds. I worked with Synopsys Inc. as a Systems Administrator, supporting the Engineering and Desktop departments. Within my previous role, I provided local assistance to 4 sites in the Boston area, automating regular processes and monitoring incidents for all server and desktop performance issues. I was an integral part of the Unix Engineering team that managed IT integration and mergers for acquired companies. During this phase, I worked on several Virtualization, Cloud, OS and Networking technologies. Prior to my employment at Synopsys, I completed an internship at Ipswitch Inc., where I worked within the IT team on various Infrastructure design and support projects. The projects within my internship focused on network security solutions, where I carried out system administration related to IT activities. These gave me technical exposure to AWS and orchestration tools, such as Puppet. In addition to I had the opportunity to work on system creation and processes with bash scripting, power shell, and Python.
