Hanna Ingber edits On Tech With Shira Ovide, a New York Times newsletter on how technology is changing all of our lives. She also writes personal essays. Since joining The Times eight years ago, Hanna has also worked on the International Desk as a senior editor, with the News Desk to develop its breaking news strategy and on the Interactive News Team. Most recently she was the founding editorial director of the Reader Center, leading a team in the newsroom focused on reimagining The Times’s relationship with its readers. Hanna worked as a reporter in India and Thailand, built and managed GlobalPost’s team of breaking news writers, and was the founding World editor of the Huffington Post. Hanna also lived and worked in Myanmar. When she was 17, The Times's Metro section profiled her as a young activist forcing her town to grapple with difficult questions.
