Heather Saxton

Director of Event Marketing and Promotion at StoneX Group Inc.

I have been working in the events and marketing field for over ten years; including agency, corporate, small business and retail experience. I'm currently working at StoneX Group Inc. (formerly INTL FCStone Inc.) as the Director of Event Marketing and Promotions. Previous to this position I was the Marketing Director for a small business in Ankeny - QA Graphics and was the Event Marketing Coordinator for Eurofins Scientific. As an event marketer, I have coordinated dozens of events including trade show exhibits, grand opening events and open houses, meetings, seminars, conferences and social events. A 2006 graduate of Iowa State University, I received a B.S. degree in Advertising with an emphasis in public relations and events. After graduating, I worked for a printing and advertising agency as a Plan Manager for Creative Services. In that role I refined my project management skills, including timeline and budget management. Preceding my agency position, I worked for an events center focusing on everything from conference services, to backstage and donor events, to group sales and direct marketing campaigns. In addition to my expertise in communications and events, I have a passion for company culture; including employee engagement and well being. I strive to make every work environment I experience enjoyable and fulfilling. I have coordinated dozens of internal activities, events and initiatives; including employee wellness, recognition and retention. In my free time, you’ll likely find me spending time with my husband, family and friends, reading the next big young adult novel series, or organizing my closet.
