When you get down to it, I'm a marketing leader. I love digging into problems and solving them with modern technology. I lead, instruct and grow a broad marketing organization that is made up of amazing teams with diverse individuals. We focus on outcomes and quickly adapt to new insights across the marketing motion. I have enjoyed many executive positions throughout my career that started in product management, product marketing, channel marketing, partner enablement and digital marketing. My personal and professional experiences have taught me key things about myself: I can successfully create and lead teams from 10 to 100 people. - Learn what motives each person (its different for everyone) - I excel when my team feels empowered to make decisions to drive the business - Having a big marketing budget, doesn't guarantee success - My gut instinct is good, but I need smart people that use data to help make decisions I educate, learn and drive myself to be a better person - Keep moving, keep learning and keep growing – everyday - I speak tech but use crazy analogies to keep things simple with people - Executive engagement, while important, rarely drives outcomes (power is with the team) - The buck always stops with me As a Marketing leader, I can talk to anyone - its part of my job.
