Site Leader at Amazon

Every day is a new opportunity for learning and bettering one's self. I strive everyday to take advantage of this opportunity with the goals of being the best version of myself and enabling the people around me to do the same. I am currently the Robotics Service Platform Senior Operations manager at LCY2, the largest Fulfillment Center in the EU, serving the London area. I have been fortunate enough to have several roles during my time at Amazon. I launched LCY2 as a Robotics Service Platform Operations Manager and in May 2019, moved to a role as a Shipping and Transportation Operations Manager and later the Outbound Senior Operations Manager role. This enabled myself, with a world class team, to build a plan and execute the largest ship days for Amazon UK and EU with LCY2 shipping over 1MM units, twice, in a 24-hour period and breaking the EU weekly ship record in 2020. Before moving to the UK, I was a Continuous Improvement Manager and a Robotics Service Platform SME with Amazon to help launch their Robotics fulfillment center in Minnesota after opening the Baltimore site in 2015. I graduated from the University of North Dakota (UND). Starting off in Commercial Aviation, I finished with a degree in Management after discovering I enjoyed the people aspect of the industry more than piloting itself. While at UND, I obtained a 3.984(4.0 scale) and was a Team Leader of the UND Student Ambassadors, where I aided in leading a group of over 100 student leaders in coordination and execution of events on campus and in community. I have studied strategic and operations management through in-depth course work, aviation and international management course work abroad, and over one year of official Chinese study. I am a two-time recipient of the United States State Department Critical Language Scholarship, which entailed four months of total language study fully funded by the U.S. State Department in rural parts of South Korea. While studying in Korea, I was able to compete in a Korean speech competition against other top universities around the country. I entered as the only non-Korean competitor, finishing with the gold prize. I currently am continuing self-studying of Korean, Chinese, and Japanese to a professional working proficiency.
