For the last 15 years I have had varied roles in legal services in both private practice and in-house. I have counseled clients from leading brands in the fields of intellectual property as well as mergers/acquisitions, licensing, franchising, corporate and contract law, copyrights and trademarks. Finding creative solutions to problems in a fast-paced environment has been my passion since I began working on a live, Emmy-nominated, sports talk television show. Today, I deliver rapid and practical legal and business advice for one of the most iconic brands in the world. My current work involves me as a risk-manager and negotiator of multi-million dollar, buy-side contracts for General Electric Global Operations Sourcing. Alongside this, I create simplified documents and train non-lawyers so that the company's risk management program is as effective as possible. Prior to my day-to-day work as an attorney, I worked in marketing, public relations, sports television and radio production.  I also spend a lot of time cooking, eating, and curling, and have a passion for economics and public policy. I am a Registered Corporate Counsel in Ohio, and also a member of the New York, New Jersey and District of Columbia Bar. Global Operations is GE’s multi-functional shared services.
